Terms of use

Effective 21 October 2026

In short

  • Aforeday helps you plan your day and keep track of what needs you. It does not make decisions for you, and what it suggests can be wrong.
  • Aforeday proposes; you approve. Where you let it act on its own, it tells you and gives you time to undo.
  • Aforeday is a paid subscription sold through Apple. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds.
  • You can stop using Aforeday and delete your account and data at any time, from the app.

1. Who provides Aforeday

Aforeday (“the app”) is provided by Neurotech AI Solutions GmbH, Lückstraße 24, 10317 Berlin, Germany, registered with the Amtsgericht Charlottenburg under HRB 270776 B (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@aforeday.com. These terms apply to your use of the app and the services behind it.

2. These terms and Apple’s licence

You get Aforeday from Apple’s App Store. Your licence to use the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to that agreement; where they conflict on the licence itself, Apple’s agreement applies. Apple is not responsible for Aforeday or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

3. What Aforeday does, and what it does not

Aforeday reads the calendars and reminder lists you choose on your iPhone and uses them to show what needs your attention: your meetings, your open items, and a short daily list of priorities. Some features use AI to write briefs, answer your questions and draft text.

Aforeday is an aid to your own judgement. Its suggestions, drafts, briefs and proposals can be incomplete or wrong, and you remain responsible for your decisions and for anything you send. Aforeday acts only after your approval, or under a standing “Act and tell me” choice you make per kind of action; in that case it tells you what it is about to do and, for anything that leaves your phone, waits for an undo window first. The privacy policy describes exactly how this works.

4. Your account

You need to be at least 18 years old to use Aforeday. You sign in with Apple, and you are responsible for keeping access to your device and your Apple ID secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

5. What you let Aforeday read

You choose which calendars and reminder lists Aforeday may read, and you can change that at any time in the app or in your iPhone’s Settings. Accounts with other services, such as a mail or chat provider, cannot be connected today; if that changes, the privacy policy will describe it first, and connecting one will be your choice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Aforeday to break the law or anyone’s rights, to access data you are not authorised to use, to interfere with or overload the service, or to attempt to reverse-engineer, copy or resell it except where the law allows.

7. Subscription and payment

Aforeday requires an Aforeday Pro subscription, bought through Apple’s App Store; there is no free tier and no free trial. The price and billing period are shown in the app and on the App Store before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple account, and Apple handles renewals, cancellation and refunds under its own terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name › Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Restore Purchases, in the app, brings a subscription you already own to a new device.

8. Your content

You keep all rights in your content: your events, reminders, conversations and anything you write in the app. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide Aforeday to you, as described in the privacy policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Aforeday at any time and delete your account from Settings › Privacy & data. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if we stop offering Aforeday; where we stop offering it, we will give you reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data first.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an obligation essential to providing Aforeday, and then only for damage that was typical and foreseeable when you started using it. Otherwise our liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limits also apply to our employees and agents. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when Aforeday gains new features or the law changes. We will tell you about material changes in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using Aforeday and delete your account.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
